Ingredients Lightning Sour 6% ABV

5 cl. IOVEM
3 cl lemon juice
10 g white sugar
1 cl egg whites

Description

In 1858, the New York Times began writing about sours: fresh, sophisticated cocktails where the acidity of lemon is balanced by white sugar. In 1922, Robert Vermeire suggested that ‘a few drops of egg white improve these drinks’. 

Today, Bruno Vanzan has created an innovative new recipe with Iovem, resulting in a rich yet well-balanced cocktail: the Lightning Sour.

Ingredients Thunder Tonic 4.7% ABV

5 cl. IOVEM
10 cl. tonic water

Description

A complex, satisfying cocktail in which the bitterness of tonic water is enriched by the extraordinarily fresh, spiced notes of Iovem. Around the time of WWI, 'tonic water' hit the market, the first drink with the bittersweet flavour of quinine. The purple hue of Iovem makes the Thunder Tonic as unique and intense as the force of nature it's named after.
